Philadelphia

Ruth and I got up this morning and were on the road by nine o clock towards Philadelphia.
We decided to come to Philly, because I had never been, and because there is a new museum that Ruth really wants to see. We're checking that out tomorrow.
We arrived in the city (I didn't realize it was as big as it is), and checked into the hotel by eleven thirty. We're spending one night, returning tomorrow evening. So, after checking in we set off on foot to see the sights. We went the the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, and just generally saw all of the historical sights. There are a lot of beautiful old brick building in Philly. The old brick houses are the best.

We walked around quite a bit, and saw most of the old part of the city, before stopping in for a Philly Cheesesteak at (top ten list in Philly, and recommended by the hotel) Jim's Steaks.
And man were they delicious!

On our way back we saw some beautiful mosaics and murals
