My legs are SORE!
I guess they're just not used to climbing mountains.
So, I decided that yesterday would be a good day to take a break, and I sat around all day doing absolutely nothing. Real exciting to blog about, right?
Anyways, last night I went into Montpelier to that little shop that I got my half-priced magic cards at (Tuesday, I believe... seems like forever ago) for their 7o'clock Friday Night Magic Tournament. I got there and signed up and whatnot before realizing that the place was overrun by twelve year olds. Nothing against twelve year old boys... but it was loud and crazy and smelly. Needless to say, I was the only girl, and there were only two other adults.
On the other hand, I did have fun. They were loud and annoying, but the twelve year olds could actually have their funny moments. Plus, I didn't do too bad in the tournament, so thats always a plus. We played three matches, each being a best of three. So, I played my first opponent and lost 2-1, but the next two I beat 2-0.
Really, my favorite part of the night was trying out the new deck I have and seeing how well I could play it... not too bad apparently.
Anyways, Carol and I are going bike riding this afternoon. Hopefully my legs won't totally suck. They're still sore.
Just spent 2 days at Shelbyville with "the clan". some various drama going on, but since Isaac spun out, we got rain for almost continuosly the whole weekend ~ which suited Nick perfectly. He brought his "Magic" and since we were stuck inside, we probably played 20 games. He does have a green white deck i like......
