New York City

You crowd. You cramp. You're still, the champ. Amen for NYC!

Holy Cow. New York City is crowded! Never have I seen so many people..
I arrived in NYC around 2 in the afternoon after boarding a bus from Boston around 9:30 yesterday morning. Ruth promptly picked me up, and we parked the car for a day in the city. There is so much to see! First we walked to Times Square and saw it in daylight.. not as impressive as at night. After, we made our way to Grand Central Station. It was bustling. I'll be coming into the city here when I come in on my own.

Grand Central Station

At Grand Central, Ruth and I grabbed a late lunch before exploring the city more. We stopped in on the New York Public Library (beautiful), before walking down a bit of 5th Ave, and went through Rockefeller Center (where they put the huge christmas tree every year) before making our way to Broadway.
We went and saw "Bring It On", a show about a bunch of teenage cheerleaders. The storyline wasn't very capturing, but the stunts they did were pretty amazing. All of the tumbling and throwing people in the air and whatnot was crazy, and fun to watch.
After the show we stopped for a bit to eat at a diner named Juniors, and the food was delicious. I don't know that I've had a better cheeseburger at any other restaurant.
Because we were so close to Times Square, we decided to see it again in all its glory. Much more impressive by night.

After a long and rushed day, we made our way home and hit the hay as soon as we made it through the door.
Today has been a relaxing day for me. Ruth had plans, so I decided to stay home and take it easy. (:
Back to the city soon!
