Emmanuel and Simmons are right next to each other in the middle of Boston, so we decided to check out both of them.
First: Emmanuel.
We started out the day by picking up Nina. Nina is Ruth's neighbor, and started going to Emmanuel last year. We (Nina and I) grabbed lunch in the Student Center before attending one of her classes. We sat in on her religion class, which was about how religion affected people, not about a certain religion. It was pretty interesting actually, except there was some background that I missed because obviously I hadn't been in the previous classes. The class was a nice size, about thirty people, and Nina said that that was her biggest class. Nina was really nice, and a lot of fun to talk to about college.
Simmons.
After attending class with Nina, we walked, literally across the street, to Simmons. There we met back up with Peggy and said our goodbyes to Nina, who had other classes to get to. Peg and I went to the admissions center and signed up for the campus tour. Our tour guide was a really nice girl, who took us around the Student Center, to a couple of classrooms, the library, and to the dorms. Simmons is close to the same size as Emmanuel, except its an all girls school. You actually didn't really notice that it was all girls, which was nice. The idea of going to an all girls school is actually kind of compelling. No stinky boys to put up with.
I really liked both Emmanuel and Simmons. I liked the size of the schools, and the location. If I were to pick one it would be Emmanuel, because I liked the student center/classrooms a bit better, and after talking to Nina, they seem to give a little more support (she applied to both). Another good feature about these two schools is that they are a part of a five school system where you can enroll in classes at any of the colleges with no extra charge, which is nice.

Both of these schools sound interesting ~ does that mean my hopes for Clemson are out of the question? I mean, they do have the best Logo in college sports :) I can so see myself wearing that orange paw print..... oh well, I GUESS it's your choice
