I don't have a whole lot to say on Atlanta, as I was only there for a week, and for most of that week I was playing with Nathaniel..
For one, the weather is great!
Other than that, I got to see a bit of the little neighborhoods, and a little bit of downtown.
It is nothing like New York, I can tell you that. Atlanta is much less hustle and bustle. Its also a place where cars are definitely dominate over other forms of transportation. In New York and Boston there are a lot of people out walking; that doesn't go for Atlanta. The train/subway that I went into the city on was really nice, fast, and clean.. but didn't stop in a whole lot of places.
Overall I like Atlanta. But, as previously stated, I also didn't get a lot time to explore and really get a feel for it, so this is just my general first impression.
Meagan, Alan, and the baby are great. Nathaniel is adorable. It was really nice to be able to come down and visit with them, and have Ruth there to make it all easier.
I can't thank Ruth enough for dragging me all over the countryside with her, from New York to Philadelphia, to Atlanta and everywhere in between. Thanks Ruth. (:
