Botanical Garden

Friday, Ruth, three of her friends, and I went to the Botanical Gardens. Really it was an event for all of the friends to get together, and I just jumped along for the ride.. but I fit in pretty well I think. Ruth's friends are really easy to get along with.
We all met up and drove to the gardens, and were in awe of the beautiful plants. It made us all want magnificent gardens in our back yards... like that is ever going to happen in my case... too lazy. (:
They had some beautiful sculptures in the gardens too.

 After we got out fill of stopping to smell the roses, we stopped for lunch at a great little Italian place. They had REALLY good olive bread, so we found out that they got it from a bakery across the street and bought some before we made our way home.
It was fun to meet more of Ruth's friends, spend some time admiring nature, and have a great lunch.
