Free Money!

Yesterday was a good day.
First off, I found fifteen bucks on the ground in Grand Central Station. WOOHOO! Free money! (:
So, in a good mood I set off to go to Metropolitan Museum of Art again, because I really wanted to see their impressionist section.
I think I've officially decided that my favorite paintings are impressionist. I don't really know why... I just like them.. A LOT.
Here are some pictures of a couple of my favorites in this particular collection.

Degas
(I love Degas)

Renoir
(I got a little tired of Renoir after the Barnes collection... because he had a LOT of Renoir.. But I really like this one.)

After spending a couple hours in the museum, I had just started walking back to the train station when Ruth called to say that she had an errand to run, so I had more time in the city. I was going to just stop in a bookstore or something, but I remembered that fifteen dollars I found and decided it would be way more fun to spend it on something that I normally wouldn't. So for that 15 bucks, I got a manicure! (:
I love the new maps on the iphone that give you reviews on places, so I just looked up 'nails', found a salon that was close and read the reviews. They were right, it wasn't a chain, but it was relatively cheap, fast, easy, and clean. And now I have pretty nails!
