Yesterday Ruth and I left Atlanta and drove about 8 hours to Richmond, Virginia, where we met Mom and Papa who came to pick me up. I'm now back in Knott's Island, North Carolina. This will be a different experience for this adventure, due to the fact that I have been here before and have already done a lot of what there is in NC. So, it will be interesting what we come up with to do. I know that I'll find plenty, and it'll also be nice to be able to lounge around and relax in between going out to do things.. Especially since Mom is at work all week, and it's not like Boston or New York where I can jump on a train and be in the city, so most of our doings will be on the weekends.
Anyways, I forgot to post on what we did on Saturday in Atlanta. Meagan, Alan, Ruth, Nathaniel and I drove through some of the old neighborhoods, before ending up in Little Five Points for lunch and a halloween parade. It was crowded with people for the parade, so we ended up at a little pizza joint before the parade. The parade was interesting, mainly just lots of people dressed up as zombies walking down the street. It was a fun afternoon though, and the neighborhoods in Atlanta are nice, good size houses with lots of little shops. I'll post some pictures of the parade, but it was hard to get good ones because there were people in front of us.
I had to throw in a picture of Nathaniel being cute. (:
